A forward-looking district for Hamburg is being created in Grasbrook, with space for living, working, leisure, and innovation. Construction developments in the area are progressing. From preparatory measures and infrastructure work to building construction projects, the individual steps are being transparently documented and monitored.

Public participation
The new Grasbrook district is not to be developed as an isolated "island", but in intensive dialog with the people of Hamburg and the neighboring districts. The integration of Grasbrook into the neighborhood, in particular Veddel, but also Rothenburgsort, Wilhelmsburg and HafenCity, was taken into consideration from the very beginning of the planning process. And the dialogue is to be continued in the concrete planning steps that now lie ahead.
